Call the Next Pitch With Pitch Prediction
Before every pitch, a batter can try to read what is coming. They build that read out of what this pitcher has already thrown them, so the more predictable the arm, the easier the call. Get it right and they earn a Predict Boost, a contact and power bump on that swing.
The boost lands in three tiers: minor, major, and critical. A critical read is the one that has a high chance of going yard.
So the one-pitch fireballer who used to be a safe pickup is now a target. Managers who spread an arsenal around are about to look a lot smarter.
Ten New Talents
Five of them live in the batter's box. Crystal Ball predicts more often. Loaded Dice turns more correct reads into critical ones. All In makes every correct read hit harder. Mind Games stacks through the game, so each correct read makes the next one more likely.
Then there is Called Shot, the big one. Once a game your batter points at the fence and calls it. If the next pitch is the one they called, they get a massive contact bonus and up to +1700% home run chance at tier 4.
Pitchers get five answers. Poker Face keeps batters from trying at all. Pit Boss takes critical reads off the table. Shame on You gets harder to read every time a batter guesses right. Self Doubt punishes a bad guess with a contact and power hit. So What? shrinks the payoff on a correct read.

- Weather sits beside the replay scorebug now. Conditions live in a tappable strip with pixel-art icons and stay on screen on both mobile and web, so you can see what the wind is doing without leaving the game.
- Talent cards tell you more. Chopper shows its real chop conversion odds, fielding talents say which position they require, and glossary terms open straight from a talent summary when you want the definition.
